Do I need an account to use AlgarveFlow?

No. You can browse events, creators and venues without an account. An account is needed to save events, follow creators, or publish events as a creator.

How do I create an account?

Click 'Register', fill in your name, username and email, set a password, and verify your phone number via SMS.

How do I reset my password?

On the login page, click 'Forgot password?' and enter your email. You'll receive a link to set a new password.

How do I delete my account?

In Account settings, scroll to 'Danger zone' and click 'Delete account'. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

How do I change my username?

In Account settings, edit the Username field. It must be 3-24 characters using letters, numbers, dots and dashes.

How do I filter events by city or category?

On the events page, use the city, category, date and time filters. You can combine multiple filters at once.

How do I save an event for later?

Click the heart icon on any event to add it to your wishlist. You need to be signed in.

How do I follow a creator or venue?

Go to the creator or venue profile and click 'Follow'. You'll receive updates about their upcoming events.

How do I use the calendar?

The calendar shows events in agenda, week or month views. Access it via 'Calendar' in the main menu.

How do I publish an event?

In the dashboard, click 'New event', fill in all fields and submit for review. The AlgarveFlow team approves before it goes public.

Can I edit an approved event?

Yes. Editing an approved event moves it back to review. Changes go public after re-approval.

How do I highlight my event?

In the event form, pay for a highlight (€9.90). After admin approval, the event is marked as 'Featured'.

Is the payment secure?

Yes. All payments are processed by Stripe (PCI DSS Level 1). AlgarveFlow never stores card data.

Can I get a refund for a highlight?

Yes, within 24 hours of payment and as long as the highlight hasn't been applied yet.
